Monetary contributions have been to many charities both local and international to support various causes
- to feed and clothe the needy
- for scholarships to local students
- for disasters such as Katrina and in Haiti.
Our club sponsors an Interact Club which has more than 150 members at American High School.
We have also sponsored several international projects, such as
- construction of a well in Honduras
- a 3-year “Stop Pediatric Aids Now” (SPAN) Project in China
- Polio Plus donations
- and a clean water project in South America
The Rotary Club of Fremont served as sponsoring club for 2 Fremont clubs – Mission San Jose in 1983 and F.U.N. Sunset Club in 2004. We have made a big commitment to improving our community.
