1/15/25 Guest Speakers: Cristina Smith and Esteban Cortez provide an overview of CIRM, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine program. CIRM, created by a ballot initiative in 2004, funds research projects that involve transplanting cells, diagnostics that allow doctors to diagnose and treat diseases more effectively, and stem cell therapies that show promise in accelerating treatments to patients in need.
